WEST MIDLANDS 2-HOUR STARGAZING EXPERIENCE
Experience an adventure among the stars with our 2-hour stargazing experience in the West Midlands. We'll meet you at your choice of stargazing location - Highgate Common and the Clent Hills near Stourbridge or Cannock Chase near Brocton for a thrilling journey across the night sky. Your private stargazing experience will likely start with a laser-guided tour of the stars and constellations that we can see from the West Midlands. We'll point out constellations you might already be familiar with, and those you perhaps won't have seen before. Our experienced astronomer will then whisk you off on a grand tour of the heavens through a telescope. Along the way you'll get to see star systems, star clusters, nebulae and distant galaxies far beyond our own, and we'll give you the background story to each view. If the moon and / or planets are visible then we'll go visit them too with the telescope.

Our stargazing nights are run as private tours for individuals, couples, families and small groups. They make for a fantastic birthday or Christmas present. It’s great for children too from age 7 upwards. All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Voucher recipient may have up to 15 friends and family members share in the experience at no extra charge.
When can the voucher be used?
There's always lots to see in the night sky no matter what time of year you choose tho stargaze. We can run your stargazing experience on a week night or weekend night anytime of the year, except 24-31 December and subject to our astronomer's availability. Weekend nights are popular so do get booked up in advance. If you'd like to see the moon through a telescope, or one or two planets then we recommend that the voucher recipient contact us to ask for best viewing dates.
What if it is cloudy or raining?
Naturally cloud and rain is always a threat. When booking the stargazing experience we recommend that you choose 2 or 3 nights initially on which you’d be happy for us to run the experience for you. If it is cloudy / raining on all selected nights then we’ll simply roll the experience forward to an alternative date that works. We can keep rolling the experience forward until we are able to run the stargazing for you.
COVID-19 UPDATE JANUARY 2021
We are open for business. All orders will be processed and dispatched within 1 - 2 working days. For locations subject to tier 4 and tier 5 lockdown restrictions our private stargazing experiences are on hold. For all locations in tiers 1 - 3 we are going ahead with our stargazing nights for individuals, couples, families and small groups from the same household / social bubble up to a maximum of six people using safe social distancing and hygiene measures to ensure your complete safety.
Found the communication with Seb excellent and he was amendable . The experience itself was just great . He added in snippets of information that made it even more interesting. The telescope he used was very good indeed and we could see things very clearly . He was knowledgeable about the stars and planets and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this experience to anyone interested. It was worth the money we spent .
